Although this is a beautiful Blackinton badge, it does not meet the department specifications. This badge, being a two-tone, is a fake. It does not even qualify for the term reproduction under the guidelines. Kansas does not and has not issued any two-tone badges.

This badge is a very pretty novelty badge, but that is all it is. As a collectible, it is totally worthless. If you just want a pretty badge that says Kansas on it, then pay no more than $35 for this thing. Whoever made this one up doesn't have a clue as to the badge specifications for the Kansas Highway Patrol.
